The Redmi Note 11T Pro+ Astro Boy Limited Edition marks 70 years of the classic manga character with a run of 10,000 units. Its silver back splits Astro Boy into two halves, one showing the character and the other his exposed machinery, using submicron lithography and platinum embossing for a layered 3D effect. Astro Boy lettering and Atom Project text complete the design.
The set is as much a collectible as a phone. It comes in a two-part box with line art inside, and includes a silver armor-style Astro Boy case marked 70th, a SIM pin, two line-art sticker sheets and an instruction card. The software follows the theme too, with custom wallpaper, a special weather widget, a robotic icon set, a charging screen and a boot animation.
For Astro Boy merch, it is also a capable everyday phone. It pairs a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage, a 6.6-inch 144Hz LCD with Dolby Vision, and a 64MP main camera with 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lenses. 120W charging reaches a full battery in 19 minutes. This is the China edition, first sold on June 18, 2022.
