This Gundam watch from Welly Merck turns the mobile suits of the One Year War into a daily-wear automatic, carrying the © Sotsu Sunrise license mark and the Mobile Suit Gundam logo. Choose your side. The blue RX-78-2 has a white and silver dial with a blue chapter ring, red and yellow accents and a gold E.F.S.F. emblem, on a silver steel case and bracelet, with E.F.S.F. RX-78-2 etched on the case side.
Zeon fans get two options, both with a dark case and the Zeon crest on the dial. The red MS-06S Zaku II has a red dial for Char's custom suit, shown on black perforated leather with red stitching or on a black metal bracelet. The green MS-06F Zaku II has a green dial on black perforated leather with green stitching, and ZEON MS-06F on the case side. The multi-layer dials have engraved mecha lines, a 24-hour subdial, small seconds and an open-worked section at 7 o'clock.
It is built as a proper mechanical watch, which makes it a step up from most Gundam merch. The fully automatic movement has 21 jewels, beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and has a 40-hour power reserve, and the exhibition case back shows a printed Gundam head over the movement. The 42 mm 316L stainless steel case uses synthetic sapphire glass and Swiss Super-LumiNova, and it is water resistant to 100 m.
