The ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 EVA Edition puts Evangelion on a gaming router that is meant to be seen. A purple body with neon-green accents carries EVANGELION TEST TYPE-01 lettering on top, and four black antennas are styled after the EVA-01's shoulder plates, with green lighting that glows along each one. A hexagon EVA-style badge sits on the end, and the ROG eye changes with router status. As Evangelion merch goes, this piece also runs your network.
Under the shell, this ASUS GT-AX6000 is a dual-band WiFi 6 router with speeds up to 6000 Mbps: up to 1148 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and up to 4804 Mbps on 5 GHz, with 160 MHz channels. A 2.0 GHz quad-core processor drives it, RangeBoost Plus extends coverage, and triple-level game acceleration prioritizes game traffic from device to server.
Two 2.5G ports handle fast WAN or LAN connections and can be aggregated, and four gigabit LAN ports plus USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 cover everything else. AiMesh support, AiProtection Pro security and VPN Fusion are included, and the control app has a UI fashioned after a visible A.T. Field. It is a large router at 337.7 × 196.0 × 220.9 mm, so plan on shelf space.
